Corinne Clauss, MHA, is associate vice president for Broward Health’s cardio and vascular service line. Across four hospitals, she works with physicians on operational needs while helping patients throughout Broward County receive timely, high-quality care.
Her responsibilities include reviewing equipment, introducing technology and finding ways to modernize operations. She believes strong operations begin with listening closely to physicians and understanding what patients need.
A South Florida native, Clauss began her career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She returned home in 2023 to be near family and continue developing as a healthcare leader.
Clauss values the variety and challenge of healthcare operations. Each day requires decisive, critical thinking, but it also gives her the satisfaction of seeing meaningful progress.
She first learned about ACHE at Memorial Sloan Kettering. After returning to South Florida, she attended local events and virtual courses, building friendships and gaining a broader view of how closely connected the region’s healthcare organizations are.
Mentorship became a natural extension of that community. Clauss enjoys helping colleagues grow and encourages newcomers to introduce themselves, noting that ACHE members are welcoming. For her, listening, building relationships and helping others succeed connect her professional work with her ACHE experience.
