2021 Student Scholarship Application

ACHE of South Florida (ACHE-SFL) is the local official chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and provides members with educational programs, networking and volunteer opportunities, career and advancement resources and the ability to connect with healthcare executives.

 

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

The ACHE of South Florida Board of Directors has established the funding of six (6) healthcare management scholarships for 2021, each valued at $2,000.
• Three graduate scholarships
• Three undergraduate scholarships

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

At the time of application submission, scholarship applicants must be:

  • A current member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) with primary chapter listed as ACHE of South Florida for at least the past year preceding submission.
  • Enrolled in a Health Management/Administration program.
  • In good academic standing.

Also,

  • Undergraduate student applicants must have completed at least one course in a health management major or health management emphasis area. An overall cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0-point scale is required.
  • Graduate student applicants must be enrolled in a master’s degree program that clearly indicates an emphasis in the health management area. An overall cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0-point scale is required.

Applications will be accepted between October 11th and November 5th.

All fields must be complete and include the following;


         1. Current resume or curriculum vitae.
         2. Most recent grade report.
         3. Copy of current university ID to validate enrollment status.
         4. Two letters of recommendation; one professional and one academic.
         5. Application Essay.

Scholarships will be distributed directly to awardees.
